Connected to Disconnectedness

Recently I have been deeply into my connection to the natural world.

Being in the presence of like minded folks is important for maintaining a stream of consciousness for ones beliefs. If we believe the world is difficult, hanging out with happy people will create conflict. Those who believe in unlimited abundance and prosperity in a loving world will find a challenge when in the circle of fearful folks.

In my life as a full time teacher and practitioner of the sacred wisdom of yoga, I find myself disconnecting more and more. Even in the so called “spiritual communities” I have encountered contradictions and disbelief.  The more I disconnect from the social element the more I find joy, intrigue, wonder and wisdom from the life blood of the natural world.

Whenever I return from secluded locations to the city, the first thing I notice is the plethora of ads for cancer and other diseases, as if a warning for those coming into these city’s. Or is it a creative way to create more disease through subliminal messages? It’s a good indicator of the environment cities have create.

Regrets1

When I am in nature, the knowing of natural health and vitality becomes clear. Our bodies are are biological, enzymatic, natural beings. Food is our medicine not just when we are sick but everyday at every meal. Nature is what feeds the cells of our body to re-create itself daily. This is part of the wisdom I feel when I am alone with nature with the fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and leaves.

In the city one is subjected to all kinds of messages to undermine the true power of our mother earth and her nutrients for our life. When people gather and talk about these messages there is even a greater attraction to the things that are harmful for us. The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus upon you attract. So when a group of people are together talking about what is currently happening that they don’t like, or talking about the tragedies they see, they are putting all their energy into these thoughts and thus attracting more of the same.

So it’s important to observe life but not be inundated with the problems people create. Be in the world, but not of the world would be the appropriate axiom for life today. Know what is around and offer the majority of your thought to the wonderful things which deserve and need your thoughtful energy to grow.

Disconnect as much as necessary from those who offer their energy to fear and gather in the circles of those who speak clear and prosperously. But to establish a clear connection to source and love better to leave out the human aspect altogether.

The gift of mother nature is pure, the messages and self power that can be learned and nurtured within, is grand. Caring for ourselves is a full-time event and today we need all the support and power and wisdom we can gather to fulfill human life.

Choosing to bring harmony and abundance to human kind

Learn how to disconnect and find more contentedness in what lies beneath the superficial haze of needless chit chat and worry. Discover your connection to nature and to life as a simple and yet highly complex natural being.

child with flower

Like a child who can stare at a flower for hours, find that connectedness. Discover the beauty. Realize the safety and purity of life. Shed all your fears. Heal your body. The spirit of nature, of God, will forever feed you and provide the life of your dreams, just have faith in your greatness. Become the masters. I love you.

The Lifetime Process of Believing

When it comes to creating a lasting, meaningful behavior that supports abundance and miracles more people grasp the concepts but miss the lesson. The lesson is to add these truths to the knowing center of the self as tools in our tool chest to help us build our lives. But if we don’t really believe in the ability to create our lives in every area, then the greatest tool in the world is only potential. It is the knowing, the beliefs about our inner power that drives new creation into our experience. When we know and believe and feel our inner power, we take lessons and fine-tune our creations.  We can create strong bodies, heal from dis-ease and inspire profound relationships. When we subscribe to a victim mentality, then the lessons become stories, stories of others, others who have the power.

Daily routines

All the books and movies regarding inner power, law of attraction, manifestation, only provide clarity to the mind that seeks. When we forget to internalize it as true for us, then the message is lost and life continues to wander into spiral of unintended events, or so it may seem.

And there’s a simple reason why most people don’t make the shift or get over the hump of learning how to properly attract the good things in life.

I see it everyday. The remedy is clear but sometimes difficult to shift into this one single truth. If we focus on the things that are happening around us, to us, and because of us, then the natural law of energy attraction will bring more of that to us, because that is where our energy is focused.  Chinese healers tell us: “Where the mind goes, Chi goes.” Chi is the life force energy. So life force energy is supplying power to the visions and feelings you are creating right now.

Chi flows

When one is encountering major challenges in life, it becomes natural to focus on the worry, problems and what-if’s.

The key to transformation is this:

“I KNOW THAT I HAVE CREATED THIS SITUATION BECAUSE I DESIRE THE BEST FOR MY LIFE, THEREFORE EVERYTHING THAT COMES TO ME, IS A PROCESS TO KEEP ME ON MY PATH OF PROSPERITY, HEALTH, AND ABUNDANCE. I WELCOME IT. I ALLOW IT TO PASS, AND, TODAY I FOCUS ON A NEW REALITY, CREATED FROM THIS NEW VISION OF MY LIFE, AND THE VISION IS…………”

I believe in me!

If you can say that, if you can put it deep into your mind, if you truly believe that you are in control of your life and that all of the universal forces of Mother Earth are here at your calling at any time and all universal forces are teaming up for your greatest good, then you have made the turn.

Get busy

At the point of knowing this truth, life has turned toward a new reality. You must know and believe that you are a miracle on Earth. Your creation is a miracle. Your living is a miracle and you have the ability to design and request miracles every day. Your body naturally heals on the inside as well as the outside. You define the strength of your cells and you become the miracle of dreams within your own life.

If you see yourself as inferior or unworthy of self creation, it’s okay, you will still experience yourself as a great creator, it’s just that you will continue to create the things that you focus on, be it feeling lonely, old, broke, misguided, victimized, etc. You will expectedly create more of it and that should make you happy to know, because that gives you power.

jesus has the power

The entire process of our happiness is quite easy if we just get out of the way and relax.

THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE THING ABOUT LIFE AND ABUNDANCE FOR PEOPLE IS TO REALIZE THAT IT HAPPENS QUICKER AND WITH MORE EXCELLENCE BY DOING LESS AND TRUSTING MORE. IT IS TRUST, OR, WHAT RELIGIONS CALL FAITH, THAT CREATES EASY ACCESS TO OUR MOST BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE IN THIS WORLD.

Have-Faith

So, where is your faith? Can you believe in natural abundance, or, do you believe in struggle?

Once you decide to turn to the direction of what you wish to create, as soon as appreciation sets in for your ability to create, when love flows from you and light shines within, when you know you are a great creator worthy of love, health, and passion, then you can relax, get out of the way, and allow new life to grow.

Yoga of Tears

Tears are a reflection of emotion. It is the physical manifestation of the emotion of sadness. Just like the way anger is fear realized, tears are the process of feeling the emotion of sadness. It is sadness realized.
Emotion, itself, is simply the reaction to thought: Thought –> Emotion –> Realization of Emotion.

Finding oneself in the feeling of sadness can be a deep hole. It can feel like a constant flow of emotion until a different thought can be realized. This is why people cry for days, weeks, and months. Their belief about a circumstance is so confirmed within them that only the feeling of sadness exists. Hence the corresponding physical reaction of crying is manifested. This will continue until there can be a new thought, a new emotion, and thus, a new physical reaction.

Regrets1
Tears are actually a mechanism to let this powerful energy created through feelings, out. It’s like the way exercise is a release when one is feeling fear of frustration, tears are a mechanism to release fear of sadness. (Fear the category as in the movie of Casablanca”)

Fear or love? Fundamentally, this is the big question, and the best tool when learning to live a happy life. Understanding our feeling at the root level, reducing it to its simplest form, fear or love, provides the awareness of what emotion we are reacting from, and thus attracting in our life. For as one confirms fear (or love) in their life, they attract a world which confirms those fears (or love). It is done by default. What one believes one receives.

“We don’t see the world the way it is. We see the world the way we are.”

Tears are good! They are a mechanism to allow energy to flow through the physical body. It is the process of sadness moving through in physical form. Like a river flowing it is energy moving from the circumstances created, washing away and giving life at the same time. It is in this constant flow of energy through tears that (eventually) brings a new thought and thus a new reaction where healing can begin. It’s where redemption can be found.

Holding emotion in and not releasing the energy in a physical way is caused by the fear of fear. To fear feeling the feelings of fear is the highest form of fear. This can lead to a life of fear which inevitably involves the corresponding physical manifestation by attracting life experiences based on fear. “The Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself”, First Inaugural Address, Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Feminine Strong
When I was 18, I wrote a book entitled, “The Playground Network” from the forceful beginning of life. In this book, I stated the need, as adults, to stay free from limiting beliefs about life. I spoke about the natural law of abundance and asked the question: Why all the fear? Life is wonderful at every level.

Suicide would be much higher had we not had the inner knowing of strength over fear, but we do, and we feel it. From this idea some of the most respected peers have pondered the proverbial fact: Our only real question in life is whether or not to kill ourselves. For in this question is the decision to live and to experience another day of being human. For the experience of life itself stimulates all emotions.

The premise of my early book was simple: learn to be okay with feeling what it’s like to be human. Tears are part of it. They are the manifestation of energy to move through the body and offer new life to the self.

In harmony

Maui Initiation

After an obscure series of events, we found ourselves on the island of Maui, the vacation spot of the world. The destination for weddings, honeymoons, family vacations, and the hottest surfing and ocean sports. The place many would like to live…if they could.P1140654

The Island has a reputation for attracting people at transitional times in their lives or to put them face to face with their fears. This is a theme we have heard over and over again here. Even a local magazine printed an article mentioning this vortex of energy that pulls people in or spits them out. Some people leave the island after a short stay with their tail between their legs; others run out of money or fail to accomplish their “plans.”  Plans?  The Islands have their own “plans” for you.

We arrived following one of those such failed “plans.” What was supposed to be a year stay managing a B&B turned into a swift exit from the Big Island onto Maui.  Fortunately, we found a friend to stay with for a while. He spoke of the “vortex”, the power of Maui; that it will manifest whatever energy we put out, positive or negative. It’s as if there is an evolutionary force of thought manifestation here on the Island. It seems many want to see it and be in it, because the island is so over-run with tourists and transients, the challenge to find peace on Maui is growing more and more difficult.

The amount of people who come and go is so great, it may take months before local people even begin to take notice of you. We’ve heard local natives enlighten us to what they call the “rednecks,” white people coming to the island to sell real estate and abuse the land. Then there are the throngs of spiritual devotees wanting to invade your personal space with a overly emotional hug. attending “teacher training programs.” Those with monetary wealth, can  live in planned communities offering a safe and familiar experience, living as a perpetual tourist. But in the real Maui there are some very intense people, and some of the world’s best athletes.

For me, the magic of the experience is that I had to deal with my emotional breakdown and find the strength to let go of beliefs and expectations of what I thought should be and tap into my own intense strength. I had to practice the art of embracing “what is.”

Like many, I understand the concept of accepting circumstances in order to move through them, but here the challenge was in my face. “Circumstances don’t matter, only state of mind matters,” I remember this phrase through a Bashar channeling.  In my humble, calm state of mind, I journeyed through these few weeks to discover more depth to this paradise on earth.

P1140715

My breakdown was initiated by expecting that at this point in life, my invention would have been far further along, bringing the fantastic income I envisioned. The great spirits had other plans for the progress into my dreams. Expectation can be a deadly emotional trap and my surrender brought forth new direction.

I found that Maui will welcome you and hold you closely in her arms, but there is no room for emotional baggage. With emotional baggage, you either have to distract and hide as long as you can, or come clean and find rest.

P1140691

Here, the self is first. The self, with truth and serenity offers true relationship to others and the world around. I have seen the many who have not freed themselves. Frantic, frustrated people with an air of chaos, even eerie, creepy and fearful expressions surround them, trying to find their place on Maui.  Even when one feels clear and strong, keeping clear boundaries is a constant practice. For there are many here who still live in the confusion of what is and seek to bring others into it.

P1140919

The Maui we thought was, no longer exists, and maybe this is the fate of the entire earth. The earth we once knew no longer exists. People have over-run the planet for the sake of commerce. My request is for the angels to come forth from the souls of who we are and realize the natural law of the universe, what is known as the Dharma.

Today,  synchronicities have been climbing and feelings of home are increasing. Soon  the perfect little home space will manifest, a place to support our comfort and where I can continue to share  gifts with the community and realize the warrior power  carried throughout my life.

Blessings.

Leaving Los Angeles

It has been quite an adventure traveling to exotic places for six months, then returning to L.A. to earn money to travel off again. As native Angelinos, we’ve experienced the prosperity and the despair of this intense place from childhood into our adult life. Today, however, the continued glamorization of Southern California and reality television has increased the masses of people moving in, and as it happens the native families become extinct. Even yoga in Los Angeles has become a product of acrobatic fitness challenges and commercial magazines. All that being said, I couldn’t imagine growing up any other place. The areas we lived in Malibu, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks brought us all the enjoyment of Zuma Beach, Santa Monica, Venice, Hermosa, Santa Barbara, the mountains, the cliffs, the music, movies and endless sunshine.

Venice-Beach Venice-Beach2

Even my career carried the spirit of Los Angeles with famous clientele, billionaire homes and parties, the flow of stimulation is endless. This megalopolis is massive and extends for nearly a hundred miles of Southern California’s coastline and stretches three hours inland. It is a collection of cities connected by the largest network of freeways in the world extending all the way to Ventura.

i-5-southern-california-traffic-map

For us, however, it is the endless stimulation, the constant hum of the city, freeways and air traffic which can no longer soothe the dreams of our adventurer spirit. Upon our last move out of L.A., we claimed it as our last. Leaving is like withdrawal from a good drug, but on the other side, it is knowing how the ensuing experience would be something completely new and exciting. We will always be L.A. babies, but it was time to release the umbilical cord, and yet keep the etheric connection to the magic and friends which created our experience and carry it forward.

Collage of Ca Cropped

For most people, a choice to move would start with a job search and job security in the transition. As in the case of the adventurers like us, the first step is to define the location of our highest joy and allow great spirit and the guiding light of our heart to lead the way and create the lifestyle and income.

Since our travels began in 2011, we have lived and relocated ten times. We eliminated our belongings to just a few suitcases and traveled with things, such as gear, clothes, three pairs of shoes each, and musical instruments small enough to fit in our suitcases. The moving has become a perfected routine, and with each move comes absolute gratitude for spiritual guidance. We’ve learned to use particular essential life tools to keep us in harmony with our desires. Our current desire is to settle long term. With our world travel experiences, we thought of several places we would like to relocate. We created a new vision board and mind movie to highlight a clear vision of our next move.

We know how well our skills in health and yoga can blend with a vacation retreat center. We decided to step it up and focus our intention on prosperity to realize this idea. When we ask for change, change will happen. We do our best not to judge how things are changing no matter how unforeseen. The ensuing months threw us right into a free-fall of unexpected events to the next phase of our vision.

While care-taking a 3 acre organic edible garden property in Puerto Rico, we were gifted with a vision for a business. We left the paradise we were experiencing to develop this idea further. During the process, we were swindled out of our money and experienced an ugly side of humanity. When the idea hit a wall and ran out of money we then experienced the proverbial “kick-em while they’re down” behavior from people around us, people we thought were our friends.

It turns out the intensity of it all actually helped us narrow our vision and strengthen our bonds even further. Anger propels intensity and fierce decision. Though I cursed god, I held fast to the knowing that the greatest of achievers have been in this position. I began to search for the perfect opportunity, low and behold. A man who had a large plot of land and built a home by himself on the big island of Hawaii was seeking trustworthy people who could care-take his property and also help turn it into a money making business while he travels abroad for a year or more. The connection seemed perfect.

Though we never met, we felt enough of a pull to make it happen. The Angels seemed to support this move and by mid October, we made it to Hawaii.

A month later and we are leaving. The merging didn’t work out. Even though we were sure this was the place, it was only the catalyst.  Tired and a bit weary, this phrase from the classic poem “The Invitation” rings in my ear… “It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the children.”

So with friends within reach, we move on.

On a side note,  it’s funny how the the idea of developing a great business opportunity comes a bit of sadness, sadness for what the dealing of business has caused us. We were quite happy on that little island before we had the “big idea.”  This in turn, reminds me that I am not a yogi.  Real yogi’s have no attachments and thus no desires for business, or a new computer, Twitter or Instagram. So as a yoga teacher, all I can do is utilize the lessons of yoga to get through the attachments we define ourselves as. We do our best to detach.. Sometimes we do. Sometimes we don’t. As we all know, life is happening now, a place in time on the vertical choice of our vibrations.

I guess you could call me a wandering angel, or a lost Angelino. I practice and study the lessons of yoga, play music, enjoy my creativity, nature, my body, and friendship. So in the tradition of the modern California yoga dude, allow me to extend an invitation to follow us as we progress into the evolution of our experience.

Angels from the west coast.

Aloha

No Regrets part II

No regrets PT 2

I AM.

We use this powerful statement every day to create ourselves. It’s how you use it as your mantra I am… I am…. I am…

Douglas King: I am many things and consistently changing my I am. I am a holistic health practitioner, a yoga teacher a myofascial therapist, a reiki healer a musician and the inventor of the Rhythm Rack. I am what is known as a “life coach”

I get people to look at the essential elements of what it takes to experience life in our bodies with joy and livelihood, to take control of the experience and master the art of creation using the framework of their typical day. I take people through their day and show ways to shift their behavior to that which supports more of what they desire to experience.
The words of my guru as as clear as day when I repeat her words…yoga is not about standing on your head. It’s about standing on your own two feet. It’s difficult to be relaxed in the mind or calm in the heart or gentle in your speech or work with someone in a state of compassion when we have willingly let the body become full of ache and pain. This is why self-care is such a vital and important element in the final outcome of what we wish to accomplish.

If we are working on a project and the energy we put out comes from a sick mind or painful body. It doesn’t matter how efficient the proposal looks on paper or the presentation looks. The outcome is dramatically affected by the energy of the one’s creating it. The ripple in dark matter is constantly affecting us.

What we “put out” in known as our vibrational signature.

Not only does our energy signature effect those around us but it effects the outcome of our life and therefore leads us, to become elders wishing their lives turned out differently or elders whom are happy with their experience of life.

Sacrificing ourselves to love another

Sacrificing our self care for others in the name of love becomes detrimental to ourselves and those we love.
Sacrificing our time for health becomes a burden upon those we say we love by placing the troubles of caring for our sick bodies upon them. We don’t stretch so we can no longer move. We don’t exercise, so we can no longer stand. We don’t eat right, so we can no longer feed ourselves naturally. We don’t relax our mind, so we can no longer think clearly. This is the fate we put upon ourselves from the society we created. What good id sacrificing our health to nurture others only to put the burden of our decrepit body upon them.

Okay, what does it take to be a holistically, healthy person and treat our body and mind with the ultimate respect?

Guidelines for a healthy mind/body/life

Wake up when you’re done sleeping getting minimum of uninterrupted sleep between the hours of 12- 5 pm.
Drink a glass of warm or room temperature water with lemon upon waking
Begin a gentle exercise, stretching yoga practice
Refresh the mind with 15 minutes of meditation
Start your nutrition with easy digesting nutrients taking the time to thoroughly chew your food and or superfood smoothie 15-20 minutes.
Begin a few a tasks, which should include nurturing the earth where you live
Prepare for lunch with and appropriate balance of nutrients making it the highest protein meal of the day
Segment intend your vision of life with a 10 minute visualization
Continue afternoon tasks
Prepare for an early dinner so that the body is utilizing optimum digestion time
Utilize evening time to unwind the mind perform self care modalities and prepare for sleep.
Now let me ask. With all that is required to enjoy our body experience to the fullest, where is the time for a job.?

Well if we followed another simple rule for living, it would be easy.

Do what you love and allow money/abundance to develop around what you love.
wouldn’t this reduce a few regrets?

I went to visit my friend Hollywood Hal and met one of his old friends Gino. Gino was just as the name sounds, a big, deep talking, Italian from Chicago. During a brief conversation, he said it. “Never work for money.”

Unfortunately many of us were never taught these axioms of life and gave our power away at an early age and the resulting effects snowball in a never-ending array of chaotic experiences that we seem to be victim of. But in reality we were fed mantras and kept repeating them. TV is good for this, force feeding visual and auditory mantras.

Living a  healthy life comes from a completely different world of what many may believe can exist.

My love and I. We have no bills, no mortgage, no insurance, no children, no contracts. We travel the world and experience abundance in ways that far exceed what we could purchase with “money.” We keep ourselves fit and free. We use our natural gifts to empower our work as healers and find those who need us wherever we go. We give and we receive.

We trust in the never ending flow of love which in turn turns into experiences greater than we could have imagined. All because we not only believe the words of wisdom that have been passed on to our culture through the ages of time , but live in faith.

If you want to get a grasp of the final result of caring for yourself and others in the way I speak, think of how the tribes live in the movie Avatar. The book series conversations with God speak about highly evolved societies. A society where elders are effectively utilized by caring for the young and tending to the community gardens.

I believe we all want to work easier, with joy and experience the feeling of making a difference. So what can you do the shift yourself towards taking more control of your experience and your health and therefore changing the experience others have of you and the energy you project into the world?

What do people feel when they are around you? You can’t hide who you are from that inner deeper level of your energetic self. and every thought and action effects the matter around you. Some people have jobs that allow them only to  make the business run from a bottom line point of view and others work to make a difference. The best we can do is be honest and work within the framework of what we have created. Then we can choose whether or not we want to expand that framework to include more of what would help us live more of a live we could look back on…… with a smile.

What is your mantra?

Stirred not Shaken

The turbulent world around us seems to be experiencing a division of ideas on what it is to be human. We definitely have two sides expressing their presence.  It’s a peculiar spectacle to watch at the least. The dark and the light, or is it knowledge and ignorance, synthetic or organic?

Some entities feel humans should not have freedom or knowledge and instead be led into a pre-determined lifestyle free from unique expression, because unique expression would lead to chaos. Then there are those who believe the unlimited free will of humans will express be expressed in harmony and joy and discover a new world of abundance for everyone with no “one” in control.

This expression of creative differences may be referred to as “opponents”, but not really.

There are humans who have been blindly led to a life of disease and confusion. They are lost and will fight to keep their position at all cost rather than face the idea of responsibility for their life and their own direction. These are the slaves of a system. They will not face humiliation or judgment from their peers to become free. They will fight for their system as long as it keeps them fed, numb and entertained. These slaves are controlled by the few. A few people wanting to control  food, water, energy, employment to the system, media and entertainment.

Then there are the awakening ones. These humans have literally, like waking from a bad dream,  shaken off any and all beliefs from the rubbish fed into society by the few who have wanted to control all.

The awakened ones are simply saying no to the system of limitation and offering their precious human energy in another direction. The awakened ones do not want to change the system and continue to ask for permission from the big boss. They are creating a new world out of their exponential growing intelligence and ideas of freedom and living on earth as natural human beings. They understand that Mother Earth can more than provide for everyone, water, energy, food, housing and their is no reason for fear or control.

When you look at it like this, you see the one side using fear and tyranny to manipulate and control more and more people into playing their game, and another group simply walking away to play a new game. But those still clinging to their control game of human limitation want to numb as many as possible to become slaves and help to cage those walking away. It’s not possible. When one has awakened to their ability to create and make choices based on their desires for joy, their is no one with a greater power over them. It’s at this great understanding when the law of attraction is realized and life becomes new again.

The awakening ones know that its our simple joy to live as an example and allow everyone to experience their current beliefs as they are, that lights the way much clearer.  They believe humans have unbounded energy and potential and when harnessed with conscious clarity and passion can create anything.  So they are creating a world free from control and experiencing a dawn of human joy and creativity like never before.

Awaken, for it is better and easier than you may think.

Begin to ignite into ideas of a life with no jobs, no money, abundant food, water, creative freedom, and harmony.

Start with gratitude for you next breath, and move with joy. Keep your heart forward and just say no.

Message for 11-11-11 and beyond

Message for 11-11-11

Anyone who’s looked at the world around, knows that we are in a time of great change.   We have indulged a little too much in a path which creates disharmony among people, and within Earth herself.

We see clearly what has become and realize the ignorance which created it.  Now, as intelligent beings, we must put that wayward, ignorant mind in transformation. We have to powerfully yet lovingly bring healing to humanity.

We shall put our minds together in unity, to focus on the creation and  development of the earth we desire.  For as we all know, it all starts in the mind. We have to see it first, for it to manifest before us.

Let us first support the gifts and goals of those who choose to bring forth the wisdom and technology of a new earth. Let’s support those who speak of love and creativity. Let’s look at what we put value to in our lives. Who and what do we support with the powerful energy of our dollar. Let’s open the door to allow through imagination and wisdom a chance to create a loving and fun place to experience life and happiness for our families.

Everything we need for joyful, healthy living is before us.  Those who speak with wisdom and of love are in the space of a much higher vibration and power than those based in fear. Feed only that which we desire and only that will grow.

So in this time, when minds unite, focus with great power of intention on the support and love for all humanity. Focus on the earth you wish to live with healthy air water, free energy, food and warmth for every being on the planet. It is our natural and inherent right to be here and be fed. No man owns, controls or sells the earth. It is ours to nurture to love and to enjoy. Together we approach a new world.

This is where we are now

It is a wonderful time

Wandering Angels

Wandering Angels

Sometime, within the time span of our lives, we encounter beings who present themselves at the perfect time, offering the perfect solution, inspiration, support wisdom, etc, just when we need it.  Many times it is as unexpected as a falling star, a gem in the mire.

Some people find these encounters unbelievable coincidences, while others realize this as a signature of the spirits who lead them along the path of their highest joy.

These beings are angels, wandering angels I call them. Though some may not actually wander, and find home in a secure residence. They have qualities that are usually unexpected, qualities that show up at times of serendipity. These may be the mail person with unequaled knowledge of astronomy, or the construction worker who can quote every line in a Shakespeare classic.

Angels have certain qualities that are run deep and show up at perfect, opportunistic times.

Then there are the true wanderers, those who show up, perform miracles, then like the changing of seasons, find  their way to move like the wind. Wandering angels, have a spirit which is hard to tame.  Their beauty and skills are not meant to be held in one place for too long. We can see these beings as creative geniuses, even tortured souls. It’s as if they don’t belong here. Many times they have a hard time relating to the earthly mentality. Some of these beings have a good foundation for handling themselves on earth while others have a difficult time getting along and live a short life filled with addiction or strife.

These beautiful souls find their way into our hearts. We feel the depth of who they are, and desire to know them. They may even be our siblings, our parents, or friends, but there is just something, that seperates them from us.

Wandering angels have  a place to be, although, even they themselves do not know where that is.  Even those with a firmer grasp on earthly expectations can find themselves wondering why they have come forth, and fantasize about how they will leave. They see the absurdity of the mundane lives humans create and the captivity of society. They don’t usually fit in, or at best find a place within the healing arts just to keep themselves well.  Wandering angels can be millionaires or homeless, sometimes both.

There are even those who know they have gifts to share, but are afraid to let go to find their true selves. So instead they succumb to the insanity of attachments and peer pressure.  Many of us on this earth now are angels, which is why it is getting harder and harder to fit-in to the binding forces put on us by religion and government.

When a soul decides to be free, when we decide to give faith the power in our life,  that is when the angels appear as needed. It becomes a natural process and a guiding light for our creations. At this point of freedom, our creations then become much more unique to our expression of individuality within the space of oneness of humankind. We realize that harmony with earth and angels is possible and all the magic we need to live our dreams is at hand.

Angels are multiplying and gathering forces in mighty strength, but not to overcome an evil force, but to instead create a new vision, leaving old paradigms to fade away. Are you ready to join in?

In the mean time, when a wandering angel appears in your life, give them hope. Share your own light, support them however you can, and allow them to be free. They are the leaders.

Words of Wisdom from Dear Teachers

Namaste all.  I have put together some of my favorite quotes from the beautiful Douglas and also my great inspiration, Andrey Lappa.  I hope you enjoy! ;o)  (I am overflowing here, so ready to go!) ~Shalyn Bauschlicher, Associate Yoga Teacher

Douglas King:

*The vital understanding of man on this earth and our relation to the heavens is discovered in the practice of yoga, through right living, and steady pose.

To this I would like to respond with the definition I found when searching “Satori” (what I know to be temporary Samadhi in Savasana, corpse pose): a flash of sudden awareness, individual enlightenment…”It is often said that when you truly need a teacher-or that which will function in lieu of a teacher-a teacher or satori, for example, will fall upon you.”

*Our physical body can heal and regenerate itself through awareness and interrelated support of the earth, sun and sky.

PRANA, Life Force

*We are inherently supposed to be strong, healthy and vibrant through our days, happy and wise as we age.

*Natural living is awareness of nature and living in harmony by nuturing the native environment and utilizing the fruits naturally present for our health and well being.

*While working to perfect the postures, our mind is challenged to be calm and peaceful in order to work through physical and emotional aspects of the practice.

*Synergize the movement into a powerful charge of energy…

This can be especially helpful when breaking through physical and emotion barriers in the individual practice…I am sure you will hear me repeat the words of my teacher in our practice together, “The pose is not easy, it is not difficult…it is what it is.”

*Regret for things we’ve done can be tempered by time. Regret for things we did not do is inconsolable.

(Book of Vinyasas: Creative Flow for Yoga  by Douglas King)

Still one of my favorite books of sequences.  I love Doug’s classes.

Andrey Lappa:

*Your attention is your “wireless” connection to your object of focus.

*Ego is the separation from things and those around you.

*Yoga is non-duality (unification), control (sign of presence of consciousness) and balance (control of energies).

*Using only physical practice with no balance of breath, meditation and purpose can actually inflate the ego.

For beginners the practice can be very good and humbling for the ego, but when only the only focus is asana development without the practice of the main goals of yoga (unity, control and balance) it can lead to imbalance and strong dualities.

*Yoga is technology teaching how to be conscious.

*God is One with many faces…Oneness has unlimited channels.

*When we eat unorganic foods, we are ingesting poison [residues]…eat unorganic thoughts and you have the same problem.

*For many people around the world, wealth and happiness can be found in a handful of rice: it means for one more week they have life.  (And think of the expressions on the faces of people in Wall Street).

Swami Rama:

*…you don’t need much external information, you already have true knowledge within.  You need to learn to apply the knowledge that you have.

Happy pondering! ;o) Namaste

Love, Shalyn
