Keeping the Eyes Open to Prosperity

There is a little trap that humans get themselves into when it comes to the ability to attract prosperity and new events into their lives.

Typically, we make decisions based on our knowledge and experience but if we are seeking something outside of our experience or knowledge, what framework do we use to evaluate our decisions in areas of newness?

In order to see something different, we need to transform the eyes from which we see. For we are only able to see in accordance to the strength of our eyes. Our eyes being not only the physical lenses in our head, but the inner eye.

Visualization techniques program our energy field to attract what we choose to create but if continue to make choices based on old knowledge, we might completely miss a doorway that just opened up.  To leave old knowledge one has to use intuition and faith for new decisions.

I have worked with business associates who reached out for new people to assist them in growing their business. Then when the premier candidate came to them, they began to treat them and react to them from old beliefs and pushed the premier person right out of their experience. Why? Because this person’s behavior was unfamiliar and therefore brought a sense of fear. Fear led to mistrust and confusion. The owner wasn’t able to let-go and trust, and lost the support they were seeking. The process of letting go also relies on intuition.

Intuition is strengthened by quieting the mind and forming a sense of silence in which we can hear the inner self speak through deep senses of inner knowing. Inner knowing can also be in the form of little voices in our head answering our questions before we even ask them. Even in unfamiliar territory, one can be gently guided to the right decision and perfect circumstance.

We must strengthen the eyes from which we see to view new horizons.

What is the best exercise for this?     Do you need to ask?

Much love

Ancient Secrets to Longevity Fitness Challenge

Need to Exercise?   Short on time?   Want to add more to your fitness routine?

Challenge yourself with this ancient fitness routine to boost your health.

For 30 days take the 15 minutes to do these rites everyday!

In the rare book “Secrets to the Fountain of Youth” a man shares his experience of discovery deep in the Himalayas where he found a tribe of Tibetan Priests  who shared their secrets of health. These Lamas looked far younger than their age and lived a very long time.

Do these rites diligently over 30 days and see for yourself how much strength and agility you create. Start slowly the first week with as many repetitions as you can, maybe only three or four.   Be sure to do the same amount of repetitions for each rite. Stay with it and increase the repetitions each week. Give yourself the chance to work up to the maximum of twenty one (21) repetitions of each rite.

Along with any longevity program, be aware of your eating habits and mental stress. Stress is the main factor in all disease. Eating more than one type of food at a time also creates stress within the body. Eat fewer combinations of food and utilize more herbs. Do not eat late. Learn to stop eating after 5 PM. Do not eat sugar in the evening and learn to eliminate sugar all together. Eat more good fats. For more dietary guidelines read my HEALTH INSIGHTS PAGE>

Reduce alcohol and increase water intake.

The biggest challenge to these rites for beginners is the process by which toxins or metabolic waste are squeezed out of the system causing nausea or dizziness. This is exactly what the body needs and shows how purifying these rites are. Start slow and get through it!

HERE WE GO!

RITE number ONE

The first rite is a simple one. It is done for the express purpose of speeding up the vortexes. Spinning helps open the vortexes better than anything else. Spinning is also known to elevate consciousness and bring one into a heightened state of awareness. Children do it all the time when they’re playing. Stand erect with arms outstretched, horizontal to the floor and begin to spin to the right.  At first, adults tend to get dizzy easy because they are not used to it and the energy centers spinning open creates a surge we are not used to. Once the body becomes used to spinning, it become quite an energizing experience. stay diligent.

Also do what dancers do. Focus on a single point as you begin to spin and when your head needs to turn turn quickly either 180 degree and focus on another point or turn the full 360 and focus again on that single point as long as you can again as you spin.

Rite one B RITE one

RITE number TWO

Rite number two continues to open the vortexes.

Comfortably lie flat on your back. Place your hands along side your body and bring your chin to your chest. Raise your legs straight up and even a little more towards your head if you can, keeping your back flat on the floor. Do not bend the knees. With each repetition use a rhythmic breath. Do your best. You will get stronger as you go. you will amaze yourself.

RITE twoRITE two B

RITE number THREE

This rite should be practiced immediately after rite number two.

Kneel on the floor with your toes tucked under your feet.place your hands on your butt as if you were placing them in your back pockets.

Tuck the chin to the chest and them move it safely and swiftly back at the same time create more of an arch to the back and feel as if your heart is opening.. Move back and forth chin to chest and then arching back. Find a rhythmic breath and keep going. This is very powerful.

RITE three RITE three B

RITE number FOUR

This rite may seem very difficult at first. Over time you will get the hang of it and find the tremendous benefits it produces.

Fist, sit on the floor with your legs stretched out in front. Place your hands on the floor along side your buttocks. Bring your chin to your chest. Now thrust your head back as you raise your body up off the floor as if to create it as a table.  As you come to the table position breathe deep and hold the breath for just a moment as you firm every muscle in the body. Come back to first position with your buttocks in the center of your hands and your chin to chest.

To this with rhythmic breath and continue in an even flow the entire set of repetitions.

RITE four RITE four B

RITE number FIVE

Palms on the floor be;ow your shoulders and toes tucked under. Drop your hips towards the floor and keep your shoulders down, ears pushed up away from your shoulders. Keep your neck long, chin up.

Then lift your hips to the sky and tuck your chin to your chest. Push your heels down to the floor and your hips back. This is a downward dog position. keep your back flat and your shoulders broad and open.

Continue back and forth using rhythmic breath.

This will create tremendous muscular strength.

Falling Down

Growing up a middle class family, I never felt I was missing anything. We always had Christmas presents. There was always food on the table. I could join sporting teams and given every opportunity the privileged 15% of people in the world get to experience.

Later in life, when I realized how privileged Americans were, I began to wonder what it must be like to be someone who wakes up to wonder if they would have food to eat, or where they might be sleeping. In our privileged culture we have the opportunity to experience such disparity by choice. That is, if a person over-extends themselves or entrepreneur experiences a venture collapse lifting oneself, or a family up from the bottom can be a traumatizing experience, but we still have the opportunity to do it again.

Anyone who’s trekked into the landscape of creating their own way, developing new ideas or companies, and mastering new ways of doing business will eventually encounter a roadblock, hit a wall, even experience complete destruction of well-thought-out plans. Every entrepreneur knows of the risks involved. It is often said, if you’re not ready to lose it all, you won’t have the strength to make it through. Those who’ve ever accomplished anything had to encounter pitfalls and failures. The failures, however, are not failures of self, but only lessons to direct the next step.

There are hundreds of examples. Here are a few you may or may not know:

~Soichiro Honda’s unique vision got him ostracized by the Japanese business community.

~R.H. Macy had a series of failed retail ventures throughout his early career.

~Colonel Harland David Sanders was fired from dozens of jobs before founding a fried chicken empire.

~Thomas Edison’s teachers told him he was “too stupid to learn anything”.

~After Harrison Ford’s first small movie role, an executive took him into his office and told him he’d never succeed in the movie business.

~Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, had his first book rejected by 27 different publishers.

~A young Henry Ford ruined his reputation with a couple of failed automobile businesses.

~While developing his vacuum, Sir James Dyson went through 5,126 failed prototypes and his savings over 15 years.

~J.K. Rowling was a single mom living off welfare when she began writing the first “Harry Potter” novel.

(Business Insider online 2016)

These pitfalls are part of the process. Through my recent encounter with failure, I discovered the truth of what I’ve spoke about as a teacher. If one has access to water, the battle is half  solved. Having access to water and exercising is the foundation for a healthy life. Food can be found. In Hawaii, you can find many wild edible plants that are healthy and medicinal. Maintaining a healthy mind through it all is what keeps you going. It means letting go of attachment and expectations. Maintaining physical and mental health really is the primary force for living well. From there, one can use the strength to create anew.

I see many people with lots of “things” who can barely move and seem so uncomfortable in their body. In this fundamental knowing, I see the stark contrast of how we’ve created living in this material world. People who are fit and at their natural body weight do not need to each so much. It is the nutrient density of the food that determines the quantity. Wise ones know this. I eat a simple dish of dark greens and find fullness and vibrancy. If we as a species moved into this simple wisdom all our problems would be solved, but gluttony and external gratification have become the teaching methods of the young, so much so that there is a generation of people who know nothing else. It is also these attachments that puts stress on the one attempting to lay it on the line and risk it all for a new life.

Those who’ve been stripped of external things either move into wisdom or panic at the loss, and fall victim of ego control. Drugs, alcohol, complaining, and blaming will only continue the experience. A strong person can say, thank God I have the ability to make new choices, and I will start with the choice to appreciate my body and my ability to learn.

Helen Keller is one of my inspirational mentors. One of her many quotes: “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”

So if you find yourself in a state of deconstruction, read the stories of those who’ve been through it. Keep your head up. You’re not alone. There is a lot of deconstruction happening these days throughout the world. Cry when you need to. Let it out, then lift yourself up. Pray regularly and look for the signs. Perform a ritual to shed unwanted energy. Burn some sage around you and your home. Love yourself. This too shall pass.

Share the love.

Mahalo.

Conscious Tourism

Think of a time, not too long ago, when people were romantic – the sky is deep blue, the sea is clear, and the air is warm. Vivid colors of nature and breathtaking waterfalls in the mountains surround you. Your body is blessed by living outdoors and eating the abundant fruits that grow effortlessly all around. Your heart feels the natural affinity of love. Life is so vibrant you name your children after the elements in nature. The land requires strength and respect. This is Hawaii, a place so blessed and powerful that the people mold everything around this respect and gratitude. It has been the way until modern slavery and corporate greed began killing life on this great example of haumea (Mother Earth).

This is not isolated to Hawaii. Exponential population growth combined with the inertia from generations of bad habits has our earth cultures scrambling for solutions. Leaders of new thought are working to awaken more people each day to the power within them to harmonize with the natural laws of earth, Dharma.

As the growth of tourism increase on Maui, the impact has residents rallying together to conserve this blessed land (stolen in 1893), and is slowly losing all of its natural resources. But within this steady flow of tourism is a revelation of insight, a blessing, a method by which knowledge and wisdom can be shared.

Here on Maui resides a large population of Mother Earth’s leaders. Natives of Hawaii who carry the wisdom of their indigenous families. Others have been attracted to the island with wisdom to support and teach the laws of Mother Earth and enjoy the simple life gifted by nature. Moving to the island is not a given right. The people who are of the island have the fire naturally within them. Others have to discover it and answer to it from the truth within the heart. It’s a rite-of-passage, a personal, emotional fire which scorches the illusion of reality to bring forth the giant within. Maui, within it’s beauty, is a sweet nectar that will metaphysically transform the blood of all who are bold enough to partake. In yoga, we speak of this fire within as a force which burns through to reveal the true self. The fears of life have much of society afraid to discover and accept this inner self.

Throughout the world, social norms were developed out of fear and ignorance which now threatens life on earth. Today, the leaders are here to create a new reality. There is a power force on this island, the power of Mother Gaia’s heart. Those who make a stand to actualize change within themselves ignite the fire of change for people worldwide.

There is a wealth of knowledge being developed on Maui regarding the natural affinity for health and joy on this planet. Ancient knowledge brushed aside as folklore to give science priority over common sense is being reawakened and practiced. Within this ancient wisdom lies the truth of the simplicity of human survival and happiness.

Today, true leaders all over the earth are providing methods of alchemy towards happiness. Sometimes called “lightworkers,” on Maui, these leaders are immersed in wisdom of the natural elements of life. This wisdom is expressed in the teachings of organic and self-sustaining permaculture, natural healing, cultural harmony, and reclamation of Earth’s resources. These devoted leaders and teachers are not fighters in defense of a cause, as much as, masters of revelation – sharing the romantic passion of life.

Visitors of any sacred place on Earth shall realize that there is a kuleana (responsibility) to nurture our own inner wisdom – our personal coming of age. Maui asks visitors to discover something deeper than a luau at a favorite hotel. Discover the meaning of Aloha, attend a conscious class, a self-awakening/strengthening retreat, or an educational tour in support of the knowledge that people of the planet are in desperate need of. Embrace the knowledge close to the heart and allow sharing to happen naturally within circles at home. There is so much a visitor of these Hawai’ian islands can do to consciously support Hawai’ian communities and one’s hometown. A deep personal commitment is normally felt as a conscious shift, a feeling of personal harmony with what is commonly known as the ‘right thing to do.’

Maui is also where teachers and leaders from other lands come to partake in strengthening their inner power with the wisdom flowing through the vortex. Come enjoy life as you develop the leader within you. Put yourself in the fire so that nobody else can burn you. Bring home a piece of Maui. Make your visit fulfilling to the point of tears and help bring wisdom to the people worldwide.

The Maui pot

Yes a lot of people smoke weed on the islands, but that’s not the pot I am refer-ing to.

Yesterday a couple in a rental car stopped next to us along the side of the Hana Highway and approached us to get some information. They are farmers from Indiana, real farmers with 3,000 acres of family farm land. They were nice and friendly. I enjoyed chatting with them. There was one thing she mentioned that stood out for me.  She said as they were traveling from their hotel touring the land, she noticed there are a lot of people on Maui and aside from the tourists staying in hotels, there was very few housing developments. She asked herself and me, “where does everybody live.” I told her there are many hidden developments around the Island, but she hit on a critical issue, the epic housing shortage on Maui.

Here you find people occupying every type of living arrangement imaginable. There are those who live from their backpack, individuals and families who live from their car, truck or van and others who live in structures.  Those able to manifest actual “housing” might find everything from converted school buses, barns, garages, sheds and storage units. If lucky, you’ll find an actual room in a house with decent folk, studio or guest house. There are apartment buildings and homes in the larger city areas, but the competition and cost is more than most are willing to deal with, trumped by the wealthy who can over-bid asking prices.

All that being said, there is a unique and even symbiotic relationship that happens with all groups of people here. Everyone knows about the challenges we face and generally have compassion for all people.

Like anywhere, there are the few who lose control of their lives and fall into addiction to pharmaceuticals or alcohol and in turn lose control of their respect for the nature or others. Even these folks find a way to get along and are usually found in areas inhabited by the like-minded. We learn to steer clear of these folks by keeping our vibration at a frequency that shields and protects us.

The “pot” I am referring to is this melting pot of people learning to live and find the Aloha in their lives here on Maui. The police, the locals, those living in their cars and those living from their backpack find compassion for the human experience.  I’ve seen people go through some tough humbling experiences, and the strength I see in their eyes is the beauty of humanity.

The contrast to this are those who pretend that they are in control. They talk too much, name drop, show-off with behaviors influenced by television.  There are many talented people here, and eventually, like a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle and when the ego is subdued, we find our place.

This melding is challenged by some locals who are not happy with the growing crowds on the island. We must remember. This crowding is not a Maui thing. Our exponential population growth is world-wide. There are as many folks leaving Maui as those coming in. The human desire to have three and four babies has put us in a critical situation with the growth of our population.  It’s why I left the beaches of Southern California. It was to the point I wouldn’t leave my place in Malibu on weekends for the hassle of growing traffic and delays getting to and from my place. It’s even more reason to find compassion and teach new ways of thought, and new ways of being. We are in this together.

So if you are reading this from somewhere on the island or from the frozen fields of Sweden thank you for sending a bit of compassion to all who are learning to meld together on this ever-growing experience on earth. It’s the experience of our lives.

Aloha

Maui Initiation

After an obscure series of events, we found ourselves on the island of Maui, the vacation spot of the world. The destination for weddings, honeymoons, family vacations, and the hottest surfing and ocean sports. The place many would like to live…if they could.P1140654

The Island has a reputation for attracting people at transitional times in their lives or to put them face to face with their fears. This is a theme we have heard over and over again here. Even a local magazine printed an article mentioning this vortex of energy that pulls people in or spits them out. Some people leave the island after a short stay with their tail between their legs; others run out of money or fail to accomplish their “plans.”  Plans?  The Islands have their own “plans” for you.

We arrived following one of those such failed “plans.” What was supposed to be a year stay managing a B&B turned into a swift exit from the Big Island onto Maui.  Fortunately, we found a friend to stay with for a while. He spoke of the “vortex”, the power of Maui; that it will manifest whatever energy we put out, positive or negative. It’s as if there is an evolutionary force of thought manifestation here on the Island. It seems many want to see it and be in it, because the island is so over-run with tourists and transients, the challenge to find peace on Maui is growing more and more difficult.

The amount of people who come and go is so great, it may take months before local people even begin to take notice of you. We’ve heard local natives enlighten us to what they call the “rednecks,” white people coming to the island to sell real estate and abuse the land. Then there are the throngs of spiritual devotees wanting to invade your personal space with a overly emotional hug. attending “teacher training programs.” Those with monetary wealth, can  live in planned communities offering a safe and familiar experience, living as a perpetual tourist. But in the real Maui there are some very intense people, and some of the world’s best athletes.

For me, the magic of the experience is that I had to deal with my emotional breakdown and find the strength to let go of beliefs and expectations of what I thought should be and tap into my own intense strength. I had to practice the art of embracing “what is.”

Like many, I understand the concept of accepting circumstances in order to move through them, but here the challenge was in my face. “Circumstances don’t matter, only state of mind matters,” I remember this phrase through a Bashar channeling.  In my humble, calm state of mind, I journeyed through these few weeks to discover more depth to this paradise on earth.

P1140715

My breakdown was initiated by expecting that at this point in life, my invention would have been far further along, bringing the fantastic income I envisioned. The great spirits had other plans for the progress into my dreams. Expectation can be a deadly emotional trap and my surrender brought forth new direction.

I found that Maui will welcome you and hold you closely in her arms, but there is no room for emotional baggage. With emotional baggage, you either have to distract and hide as long as you can, or come clean and find rest.

P1140691

Here, the self is first. The self, with truth and serenity offers true relationship to others and the world around. I have seen the many who have not freed themselves. Frantic, frustrated people with an air of chaos, even eerie, creepy and fearful expressions surround them, trying to find their place on Maui.  Even when one feels clear and strong, keeping clear boundaries is a constant practice. For there are many here who still live in the confusion of what is and seek to bring others into it.

P1140919

The Maui we thought was, no longer exists, and maybe this is the fate of the entire earth. The earth we once knew no longer exists. People have over-run the planet for the sake of commerce. My request is for the angels to come forth from the souls of who we are and realize the natural law of the universe, what is known as the Dharma.

Today,  synchronicities have been climbing and feelings of home are increasing. Soon  the perfect little home space will manifest, a place to support our comfort and where I can continue to share  gifts with the community and realize the warrior power  carried throughout my life.

Blessings.
