Falling Down and Getting Up Again

The desire for a good live, food, water and comfort is something on everyone’s mind. Sometimes we get so excited for life we wish to use our skills and achieve great things.  IN the process of achievement comes an even greater factor of circumstances which may hinder or create a pitfall in our process. After a while, we learn that these pitfalls are part of the process and our ability to overcome them is the real story of our lives.

Growing up a middle class family, I never felt I was missing anything. We always had Christmas presents. There was always food on the table. I could join sporting teams and given every opportunity the privileged 15% of people in the world get to experience.

Later in life, when I realized how privileged Americans were, I began to wonder what it must be like to be someone who wakes up to wonder if they would have food to eat, or where they might be sleeping. In our privileged culture we have the opportunity to experience such disparity by choice. That is, if a person over-extends themselves or entrepreneur experiences a venture collapse lifting oneself, or a family up from the bottom can be a traumatizing experience, but we still have the opportunity to do it again.

Anyone who’s trekked into the landscape of creating their own way, developing new ideas or companies, and mastering new ways of doing business will eventually encounter a roadblock, hit a wall, even experience complete destruction of well-thought-out plans. Every entrepreneur knows of the risks involved. It is often said, if you’re not ready to lose it all, you won’t have the strength to make it through. Those who’ve ever accomplished anything had to encounter pitfalls and failures. The failures, however, are not failures of self, but only lessons to direct the next step.

famous famous people whove overcome great obsticles

There are hundreds of examples. Here are a few you may or may not know:

~Soichiro Honda’s unique vision got him ostracized by the Japanese business community.

~R.H. Macy had a series of failed retail ventures throughout his early career.

~Colonel Harland David Sanders was fired from dozens of jobs before founding a fried chicken empire.

~Thomas Edison’s teachers told him he was “too stupid to learn anything”.

~After Harrison Ford’s first small movie role, an executive took him into his office and told him he’d never succeed in the movie business.

~Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, had his first book rejected by 27 different publishers.

~A young Henry Ford ruined his reputation with a couple of failed automobile businesses.

~While developing his vacuum, Sir James Dyson went through 5,126 failed prototypes and his savings over 15 years.

~J.K. Rowling was a single mom living off welfare when she began writing the first “Harry Potter” novel.

(Business Insider online 2016)

These pitfalls are part of the process. Through my recent encounter with failure, I discovered the truth of what I’ve spoke about as a teacher. If one has access to water, the battle is half  solved. Having access to water and exercising is the foundation for a healthy life. Food can be found. In Hawaii, you can find many wild edible plants that are healthy and medicinal. Maintaining a healthy mind through it all is what keeps you going. It means letting go of attachment and expectations. Maintaining physical and mental health really is the primary force for living well. From there, one can use the strength to create anew.

I see many people with lots of “things” who can barely move and seem so uncomfortable in their body. In this fundamental knowing, I see the stark contrast of how we’ve created living in this material world. People who are fit and at their natural body weight do not need to each so much. It is the nutrient density of the food that determines the quantity. Wise ones know this. I eat a simple dish of dark greens and find fullness and vibrancy. If we as a species moved into this simple wisdom all our problems would be solved, but gluttony and external gratification have become the teaching methods of the young, so much so that there is a generation of people who know nothing else. It is also these attachments that puts stress on the one attempting to lay it on the line and risk it all for a new life.

Those who’ve been stripped of external things either move into wisdom or panic at the loss, and fall victim of ego control. Drugs, alcohol, complaining, and blaming will only continue the experience. A strong person can say, thank God I have the ability to make new choices, and I will start with the choice to appreciate my body and my ability to learn.

Hellen Keller quote

Helen Keller is one of my inspirational mentors. One of her many quotes: “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”

So if you find yourself in a state of deconstruction, read the stories of those who’ve been through it. Keep your head up. You’re not alone. There is a lot of deconstruction happening these days throughout the world. Cry when you need to. Let it out, then lift yourself up. Pray regularly and look for the signs. Perform a ritual to shed unwanted energy. Burn some sage around you and your home. Love yourself. This too shall pass.

What’s Motocross got to do With It

. Yoga is motocross.

Unlike other sports, motocross requires both balls.

Two wheels at high speed on rough terrain requires a strong commitment to what you wish to achieve and a focus that cannot be swayed. This is motocross.  The one pointed focus and mindfulness of motocross mimics the great teachings of yoga. We balance our passion and courage while open to profound new experiences and unimaginable achievement.

Journey with me into the similarity of yoga and motocross.

All I know is that when I was about eight years old I felt the excitement of speed beyond what my own two feet could go. With a little metal between my legs I could explore a new level of existence. Power, speed, altitude, free-falling and crashing were the new sensations.

Yoga helps prevent injury and speed recovery
It’s all part of it

What I learned quickly was how the physics of my body and a small rocket worked. Once I understood the physics behind it and how to use inertia to turn ideas into matter the fun remained endless. In Motocross it becomes a matter of physical fitness and physicsal fitness. Fitness and physics are WFO for 20 minutes at a time.

As we say on the street “Unlike other sports, motocross requires BOTH balls” … like your first Bikram yoga class.

Thought into matter.

Yes. Knowing the time vs speed ratio when traversing over dirt and rock at high-speed requires the ability to think about things before they happen. Knowing what I want to create, using the power, speed and terrain ahead of me, my body would automatically ignite the neuromuscular response to put the idea into form, like a high-speed stunt, jump or acrobatic.

All athletes know how to place the mind before matter. So if you ponder it, one can see how this can become the belief in all areas of life.

In the process of traversing with great speed over rough terrain is the understanding of overcoming obstacles.  I must see it ahead and pick the best course of action at that moment. Then I follow through with the action as I continue to look AHEAD.  Seeing the obstacle ahead and focusing on it as it approaches rather than looking beyond it will lead to the obstacle taking the power. In that lack of foresight comes the consequences of focusing on the problem rather than looking ahead. This usually leads to a crash or unsuitable experience of one kind or another.

Isn’t this everything in life? What we focus on approaches, takes over.  The extraordinary thing about it is to have focus but relax into it, like expecting and letting go at the same time.

Sage wisdom says be in the knowing. Knowing our place intuitively will reveal elements of what we are good at, and if we are in the right place at the right time. In other words, If I know intuitively I marvel when I’m on a motocross bike, it’s likely I will pursue it with passion. Other sports may not prove to be as exciting therefor less intuitive.

For it to become a knowing, there has to understanding from a higher perspective. What it is you came to do. It’s the natural sense one has about themselves, before others taint their view. Once you commit to that which excites your natural sense of wonder, then you can begin to become that, relax into being it, and become mindful of your experiences.

The expectation/relaxation factor plays a big part in motocross. If we expect too much we begin to put values on it. If we expect to win, but focus on the perfect start, then a poor start can put you mentally behind.  So being mentally and physically behind it becomes difficult to keep a winning focus.

Like life and practicing yoga, expectation and force can become detrimental to what should be natural, fun and easy.   Eventually we learn the formula. Know what you desire, be in the knowing of it and let the steps reveal themselves. We learn upon each step, the experience of becoming.

Stay in your foresight. Use your intuition to pick the line and relax into the magic.

What is Mindfulness and Meditation?

Today, more than ever before, people are seeking methods to feel stable, balanced and aware of where we are going.

Meditation is the answer and mindfulness leads the way. Mindfulness and meditation go hand in hand. Mindfulness can be used as a type of meditation for everything we do throughout our day. Meditation therefore, builds strong mindfulness muscles.

Meditation is an ancient intelligence by which one can find that sense of peace and balance within. It is a method whereby one can feel the sense of completeness. In that sense of completeness comes a feeling of bliss and comfort. Meditation comes as a big challenge for many people. Sitting still, without thought, might seem like a simple thing to do, but when one is faced with silence, the mind with its prolonged state of thinking – days, weeks, years of thinking – wants to continue. The momentum can be so great that not thinking becomes nearly impossible, even painful.

Meditation is an exercise.

It is a method that needs constant practice to develop. It’s similar to learning a language, one  lesson will not make thee wise.  We say fifteen minutes twice a day is a common time span to begin training in meditation. There are many methods for learning meditation, but the paradox is that thinking about how to meditate defeats the purpose.

Mindfulness is a part of meditation, but more so, it is a process by which one can transition into the deeper aspects of meditation by becoming more focused in the moment. Mindfulness brings you into a state of intelligence because mindfulness is whereby the mind is full of only the current physical undertaking. Think of it like drinking a glass of lemonade. The experience will be of drinking lemonade. If you were to add cranberry juice, oatmeal, beer and french fries, it would become so convoluted that the focus becomes thwarted. There is confusion. This is how many people run their minds on a day to day basis. The body may be on a task, but the mind is elsewhere. This is the most applicative understanding of what mindfulness is.

Mindfulness is knowing “what is” in this moment.

This is not to be confused with how we create ourselves through vision. We say circumstances don’t matter, but rather the state of mind matters. The mind creates the matter. One can be frustrated about a circumstance with all kinds of fruitless or impractical thoughts, or instead, find joyful feelings that will guide to more joyful experiences regardless of the current circumstance.

This does not conflict with mindfulness. Mindfulness is knowing what you are doing – be it making a cup of coffee, sitting in the park, or sitting in jail.  Mindfulness brings a sense of commitment to the moment.  Know what you are doing, or about to do, and participating with full intent. It does not mean you cannot do two things at once. It simply means to understand what it is you are choosing to do. This in itself can help lead you towards meditation.

A mindful person can be quite pleasant to be around because mindfulness brings a sense of peace and bliss. Knowing who you are and owning what you choose in the moment with a state of commitment breeds confidence and honor.

How to practice mindfulness?  Here are a few exercises:

  1. Get yourself a grape, raisin or slice of apple. Spend five minutes eating it. Savor it. Narrate it. Mindful eating is the best way to be sure you are chewing your food enough and can even be combined with healing visualization of the food providing health and vitality to the body.
  2. In the temple, we learn walking meditation. Spend one hour walking. Feel exactly how your foot is placed on the earth. Do this barefoot if you can. Narrate out loud to yourself while walking: right foot, step, left foot, step, right foot, step, left foot, step. Allow each step 5-10 seconds. Do it.
  3.  There are many ways to apply mindfulness exercise. The practice of mindfulness allows you to come up with some of your own.

When mindfulness is present, truth exists. See if you can find it.

The Energy of Oneness

Ten turtles were feeding in the waters below me off the reef. We were having a sunrise picnic. Such a gentle creature and fun to swim with. Look into their eyes and see the universal expression of the song. Look into the eyes of a goat, a turtle a chicken or the family dog and see the same expressions. The expressions we all know so well, expressions of love or fear.

turtle-town-07

Anyone who’s cared for an animal recognizes in their eyes the responses of their environment in its acute form. Each moment is a direct reflection of the song. Is the song love or fear? The eyes are universal.  Sometimes we have to refine our powers of observation to see clearly but they’re there.

happy-dog-02

The eyes of love are harmonious to the song of love, the feelings of joy. The eyes of fear are experiencing the vibrational energy of disharmony.

Harmony, comes from tuning into the song which feels like a melody, a vibration any human would enjoy. Since joy is what we wish to have in our lives, the more we practice creating joy the more it will be reflected to us. A harmonious song is easy to listen to whereas a disharmonious song or voice is almost painful to hear.

disharmonious sounds

To be in tune to the harmony is to discover the frequency which creates a feeling of perfection, a natural and welcoming vibration. “Perfection” itself is a misnomer. We are perfectly imperfect and life is perfect with both benevolent and malevolent behaviors. So what is perfection and is “harmony” only representative of good?   Good and bad are only judgments based on one’s belief system which are individually created so harmony has nothing to do with good or bad. It is irrelevant to the song.

When a beautiful song is played be it from a genre of metal or a symphony the order and method of the song brings forth a sense of perfection. Like a fractal managing the chaos of life’s ripple of energy. It is the path of least resistance, the natural path.

enjoying the soud

I don’t know why it works this way. There is a sacred harmony, notes played in a way that sings to the heart. It creates a joy we get to experience it. It is a method of being human which makes it worth the trip. The sweet song of harmony which provides joy in the human experience makes our days worth while. The harmony can be seen in the eyes of any woman or man, four-legged, winged or furry one. The harmony is the eyes of love, contentment and joy.

We live within this natural law, the pain/pleasure principle. All living creatures as small as the paramecium draw towards that which is pleasurable and draws away from that which is unpleasant.  We are in constant motion to make life more comfortable for us even within our own bodies.

connections

Though pain and pleasure are parts of the song, we get to choose which energy to mold our lives around. Whereas animals represent themselves in perfect truth moment to moment, humans have this unique ability to hide their truth and expressions to others. Those they relate with can choose to be in denial with them. In these experiences we feel the after-effects, the prolonged expression of our minds own prison, guilt and regret. We either learn from our experiences to develop a stronger path of truth or stay in denial and repeat patterns. We do not need to continue to experience war and oppression to know it is not desirable. We already have the programing to know what behaviors would be joyful just by reading the description.  It’s our choice to order from the menu, the experience of disharmony. We don’t have to.

woman-with-menu

Even if our current circumstance is painful, we can turn our eyes to the path of a better feeling, a more comfortable experience within and therefore a turn in events. True joy really is felt within. The outer experiences are like frosting on the cake, a tangible feeling as a result of our inner self.  When it feels exhilarating, we are in the place of respect and compassion for all humans within the song of life. This is where we see the possibility of our society in freedom and wellness, where the eyes of your fellow human are serene in the harmonious beauty of the song of ourselves. To find harmony we must first be in tune. Have compassion and allow for the bliss to be nurtured within all.  Decide in every moment if your actions have created harmony or resisted the natural flow and caused unexplained fear or pain.  Learn to speak less, listen more and be okay with keeping your opinion to yourself once and awhile. Share your heart through your eyes. “You must be the change you wish to see in the world” ~ Mahatma Ghandi

Yoga and Your Body Type

Yoga is adaptable to every body type and requires knowledge of how our body is suited for each movement.

Practicing yoga is a powerful way to strengthen and heal.  However, it requires the ability to adapt your body to function within each pose. Our yoga practice requires us to realize the challenges we face in achieving the benefits in yoga related to our body type. Let’s look at your body type today in our blog class for yoga and your body type.

Jay, the Russian fitness trainer strapped me into a leg machine then stopped and said, “I didn’t realize you were so tall. Are you over six feet?” Why do you ask, said I?  He told me that the length of my legs were equal to a body over six feet tall.  It was then I had a revelation about my body type and subsequent excuses for why I couldn’t perform certain fitness or yoga exercises.

Stand me next to the shortest person in the room then have us sit down side by side. Whilst I tower over the short person standing, they suddenly become taller than me when we sit next to each other. With these super long legs comes a short torso. I sometimes wonder how all my organs fit into such a small space and another reason why my rib cage is so large. Point being, my structural uniqueness carries with it some challenges and some advantages.

Structurally speaking leg lifts or boat pose “Navasana” are the most traumatic exercise experiences for me while bike riding is the most structurally easy exercise. In leg lifts my torso has to nearly be on the floor to counterbalance my legs. In bicycle riding, my long legs provide great muscle mass for peddling while the short torso keeps my center of gravity lower.

Many new to the practice get frustrated by body type comparisons.

Why some postures are such a challenge when others can master such postural moves easily. It is really all about our physiology.

I had a friend who mastered a head stand from a wide leg position and other arm balances easy.  Like Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, he had a long torso and short legs. He is 6’4″ and our legs are the same length. His extra length is in the torso. He could put his head to the floor easy because of his structure. It was almost as if his legs would naturally come off the ground to accommodate his torso. With such mass in the upper body, inversions are easier. Many think inversions are the end-all to mastering yoga when in fact inversion postures are simply another direction to test the body. Some find it easy some do not.

Here is a visual of the differences between torso body types, the weight and mass of the legs  in comparison to the torso.

Structural differencesDaily movements of our body requires finding our center of gravity.

Gravity is what we work with to move ourselves.  When we begin a practice of yoga we become aware of our structural design and integrity.

Early on in yoga practice people use structural design as an excuse as to why they can’t do certain postures. I tried it, but my teacher wouldn’t buy into my excuses and called me lazy. Over time I simply became more aware of myself, dropped the ego expectation and humbly worked within my framework.

We all have structural differences which make certain activities easy and others more difficult. If you’ve ever played an auto racing video game, before the game starts you get to design your car. The design of the car will provide the parameters from which you get to experience the race.

Select your car

Whatever our structural design we all benefit from the yoga practice

Eventually we will be able to perform all the poses in the class. I see students struggle with expectation and humiliation but the humbling effect brings one further into the benefits of the practice.   Remember yoga is simply a process of understanding.

Whatever your belief or excuse about your body type, it’s the starting point to becoming aware of who you are. All the poses I had excuses for have now become easy.  This is true with any perceived limitation of health or ability. When we release the expectation and ego, we can begin to discover the magic of who we are.

Blessings on your journey. I’ll see you in class.

The Focused ones

How can you tell the person who’s got it going on, focused and visionarily strong?
They move with intent. They are not looking around wondering what everyone else is doing, subjecting themselves to vampires and thieves.
The thieves I speak of are representative in the ethical guidelines of yoga the Yamas.

The five yamas, are self-regulating behaviors involving our interactions with other people and the world at large.
Ahimsa: nonviolence
Satya: truthfulness
Asteya: non-stealing
Brahmacharya: non-excess (often interpreted as celibacy)
Aparigraha: non-possessiveness, non-greed.

Non-stealing relates to the energy you take from another, be it physical or non-physical. In one glance a person can steal the moment you give them, define it and put it upon/into you. It may be a moment of inspiration and upliftment as in a smile or a disruptive and fearful glare defining their existence.
approval
One who is self-sufficient, complete and confident will travel through time/space directly into the people and places that are essential for the creation of their desires.
We are all creators and healers, transformers of space. We define the space around us by focusing our attention in one direction or another. Those not focused on a path will wander aimlessly into the wild, and subject themselves to endless variations of others opinions, beliefs and endless suffering. I am not talking about physical wandering either. I am talking about the life path/dream one holds tightly to their souls energy from the point of waking from sleep every day.
Some wake with gratitude and vision and others wake with fear and confusion.
Waking
It is summed up in a phrase molded by Irene Dunne: “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”
There is power in that phrase beyond a smile of approval.
The person with direction in their life is not taking their eyes off the road. They don’t need to be in random conversations with those babbling about their beliefs or fears, or looking around for approval in the eyes of others. When you take your eyes off the road you’re in danger of crashing, because those eyes can kill.
Stand in your path without the need for approval or acceptance. I knew a man who would always have to preface his words and opinions with pre approved acceptance from others in an attempt to persuade others and avoid his fear of disapproval. He was the most uncomfortable person to be around.
It doesn’t matter what you wish to create. Create with all your heart. Marilyn Manson is a great example. He’s one of my fellow Capricorn leaders, an intelligent man with a wildly creative soul with no need of approval from any human being. I love him.
MM
Find your path. “You are never given a dream without also given the power to make it true.” -Richard Bach

Focus. Focused intention builds the dream.
Believe in your power. Believe everything is drawing you closer to your desires.
Stand forward. Walk forward, heart forward and spine tall. Walk from were you are now to the point of attraction for you each day. You will walk into the people and places that fit the joy you seek, the kindred souls of the angels that will guide you away from the thieves. This is the core power of the Law of Attraction.

Who are you?

Injured? Don’t Do Yoga!!

“Don’t do yoga.” It’s something I’ve heard students and clients tell me as their doctor’s or therapist’s instructions. Yoga has a broad based history in supporting injury and healing. Yoga not only helps prevent injury but increases the healing process. Unfortunately our modern medical model doesn’t quite understand what it’s all about. Read on for a look into this issue in today’s class blog.

“Injured? Don’t Do Yoga!!

There is something deep and fundamentally disruptive with this level of intellect. First off  “yoga”  in itself is such a general statement about a system of practices for a healthy lifestyle. Yoga is about the way one perceives life. Surely the doctor didn’t mean: you’re injured, stop perceiving life with gratitude. Of course not. It’s simply our western model of health care. A model which is fundamentally sickness management, and the longer you can manage someone’s sickness or injury, the longer you make money. There is no education regarding the ancient secrets of health within the typical practitioners of western medicine.

What the doctor is referring to, I’m sure, is “do not attend a yoga class.” Another reality is that yoga, like medicine, has been reduced in it’s effectiveness and away from the wisdom of inner self. It’s now an exercise routine performed as an athletic competition. Many classes do not properly train an individual for the greatest accomplishment in yoga, to do nothing and be happy. The state of being is what matters in all circumstances.  So yes, the fast paced or poorly directed classes are not properly suited for injury care.

Yoga in its clearest form teaches the wisdom of doing no harm. Do no harm to the body. Do no harm to the mind. Treat yourself with respect and listen deeply to your inner wisdom.

Depending upon the extent of the injury, yoga can be used to learn the lesson of rest and using healing energy, or used to circumspect the range of injury through gentle movement. Yoga can be used for healing at every level of injury. What is needed is not less yoga, but more education for what is yoga.

In health and prosperity

The Maui pot

Yes a lot of people smoke weed on the islands, but that’s not the pot I am refer-ing to.

Yesterday a couple in a rental car stopped next to us along the side of the Hana Highway and approached us to get some information. They are farmers from Indiana, real farmers with 3,000 acres of family farm land. They were nice and friendly. I enjoyed chatting with them. There was one thing she mentioned that stood out for me.  She said as they were traveling from their hotel touring the land, she noticed there are a lot of people on Maui and aside from the tourists staying in hotels, there was very few housing developments. She asked herself and me, “where does everybody live.” I told her there are many hidden developments around the Island, but she hit on a critical issue, the epic housing shortage on Maui.

Here you find people occupying every type of living arrangement imaginable. There are those who live from their backpack, individuals and families who live from their car, truck or van and others who live in structures.  Those able to manifest actual “housing” might find everything from converted school buses, barns, garages, sheds and storage units. If lucky, you’ll find an actual room in a house with decent folk, studio or guest house. There are apartment buildings and homes in the larger city areas, but the competition and cost is more than most are willing to deal with, trumped by the wealthy who can over-bid asking prices.

All that being said, there is a unique and even symbiotic relationship that happens with all groups of people here. Everyone knows about the challenges we face and generally have compassion for all people.

Like anywhere, there are the few who lose control of their lives and fall into addiction to pharmaceuticals or alcohol and in turn lose control of their respect for the nature or others. Even these folks find a way to get along and are usually found in areas inhabited by the like-minded. We learn to steer clear of these folks by keeping our vibration at a frequency that shields and protects us.

The “pot” I am referring to is this melting pot of people learning to live and find the Aloha in their lives here on Maui. The police, the locals, those living in their cars and those living from their backpack find compassion for the human experience.  I’ve seen people go through some tough humbling experiences, and the strength I see in their eyes is the beauty of humanity.

The contrast to this are those who pretend that they are in control. They talk too much, name drop, show-off with behaviors influenced by television.  There are many talented people here, and eventually, like a thousand-piece jigsaw puzzle and when the ego is subdued, we find our place.

This melding is challenged by some locals who are not happy with the growing crowds on the island. We must remember. This crowding is not a Maui thing. Our exponential population growth is world-wide. There are as many folks leaving Maui as those coming in. The human desire to have three and four babies has put us in a critical situation with the growth of our population.  It’s why I left the beaches of Southern California. It was to the point I wouldn’t leave my place in Malibu on weekends for the hassle of growing traffic and delays getting to and from my place. It’s even more reason to find compassion and teach new ways of thought, and new ways of being. We are in this together.

So if you are reading this from somewhere on the island or from the frozen fields of Sweden thank you for sending a bit of compassion to all who are learning to meld together on this ever-growing experience on earth. It’s the experience of our lives.

Aloha

Connected to Disconnectedness

Recently I have been deeply into my connection to the natural world.

Being in the presence of like minded folks is important for maintaining a stream of consciousness for ones beliefs. If we believe the world is difficult, hanging out with happy people will create conflict. Those who believe in unlimited abundance and prosperity in a loving world will find a challenge when in the circle of fearful folks.

In my life as a full time teacher and practitioner of the sacred wisdom of yoga, I find myself disconnecting more and more. Even in the so called “spiritual communities” I have encountered contradictions and disbelief.  The more I disconnect from the social element the more I find joy, intrigue, wonder and wisdom from the life blood of the natural world.

P1140919

Whenever I return from secluded locations to the city, the first thing I notice is the plethora of ads for cancer and other diseases, as if a warning for those coming into these city’s. Or is it a creative way to create more disease through subliminal messages? It’s a good indicator of the environment cities have create.

Regrets1

When I am in nature, the knowing of natural health and vitality becomes clear. Our bodies are are biological, enzymatic, natural beings. Food is our medicine not just when we are sick but everyday at every meal. Nature is what feeds the cells of our body to re-create itself daily. This is part of the wisdom I feel when I am alone with nature with the fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and leaves.

organicproduce

In the city one is subjected to all kinds of messages to undermine the true power of our mother earth and her nutrients for our life. When people gather and talk about these messages there is even a greater attraction to the things that are harmful for us. The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus upon you attract. So when a group of people are together talking about what is currently happening that they don’t like, or talking about the tragedies they see, they are putting all their energy into these thoughts and thus attracting more of the same.

So it’s important to observe life but not be inundated with the problems people create. Be in the world, but not of the world would be the appropriate axiom for life today. Know what is around and offer the majority of your thought to the wonderful things which deserve and need your thoughtful energy to grow.

Disconnect as much as necessary from those who offer their energy to fear and gather in the circles of those who speak clear and prosperously. But to establish a clear connection to source and love better to leave out the human aspect altogether.

The gift of mother nature is pure, the messages and self power that can be learned and nurtured within, is grand. Caring for ourselves is a full-time event and today we need all the support and power and wisdom we can gather to fulfill human life.

Choosing to bring harmony and abundance to human kind
Choosing to bring harmony and abundance to human kind

Learn how to disconnect and find more contentedness in what lies beneath the superficial haze of needless chit chat and worry. Discover your connection to nature and to life as a simple and yet highly complex natural being.

child with flower

Like a child who can stare at a flower for hours, find that connectedness. Discover the beauty. Realize the safety and purity of life. Shed all your fears. Heal your body. The spirit of nature, of God, will forever feed you and provide the life of your dreams, just have faith in your greatness. Become the masters. I love you.

The Lifetime Process of Believing

When it comes to creating a lasting, meaningful behavior that supports abundance and miracles more people grasp the concepts but miss the lesson. The lesson is to add these truths to the knowing center of the self as tools in our tool chest to help us build our lives. But if we don’t really believe in the ability to create our lives in every area, then the greatest tool in the world is only potential. It is the knowing, the beliefs about our inner power that drives new creation into our experience. When we know and believe and feel our inner power, we take lessons and fine-tune our creations.  We can create strong bodies, heal from dis-ease and inspire profound relationships. When we subscribe to a victim mentality, then the lessons become stories, stories of others, others who have the power.

Daily routines

All the books and movies regarding inner power, law of attraction, manifestation, only provide clarity to the mind that seeks. When we forget to internalize it as true for us, then the message is lost and life continues to wander into spiral of unintended events, or so it may seem.

And there’s a simple reason why most people don’t make the shift or get over the hump of learning how to properly attract the good things in life.

I see it everyday. The remedy is clear but sometimes difficult to shift into this one single truth. If we focus on the things that are happening around us, to us, and because of us, then the natural law of energy attraction will bring more of that to us, because that is where our energy is focused.  Chinese healers tell us: “Where the mind goes, Chi goes.” Chi is the life force energy. So life force energy is supplying power to the visions and feelings you are creating right now.

Chi flows

When one is encountering major challenges in life, it becomes natural to focus on the worry, problems and what-if’s.

The key to transformation is this:

“I KNOW THAT I HAVE CREATED THIS SITUATION BECAUSE I DESIRE THE BEST FOR MY LIFE, THEREFORE EVERYTHING THAT COMES TO ME, IS A PROCESS TO KEEP ME ON MY PATH OF PROSPERITY, HEALTH, AND ABUNDANCE. I WELCOME IT. I ALLOW IT TO PASS, AND, TODAY I FOCUS ON A NEW REALITY, CREATED FROM THIS NEW VISION OF MY LIFE, AND THE VISION IS…………”

I believe in me!

If you can say that, if you can put it deep into your mind, if you truly believe that you are in control of your life and that all of the universal forces of Mother Earth are here at your calling at any time and all universal forces are teaming up for your greatest good, then you have made the turn.

Get busy

At the point of knowing this truth, life has turned toward a new reality. You must know and believe that you are a miracle on Earth. Your creation is a miracle. Your living is a miracle and you have the ability to design and request miracles every day. Your body naturally heals on the inside as well as the outside. You define the strength of your cells and you become the miracle of dreams within your own life.

If you see yourself as inferior or unworthy of self creation, it’s okay, you will still experience yourself as a great creator, it’s just that you will continue to create the things that you focus on, be it feeling lonely, old, broke, misguided, victimized, etc. You will expectedly create more of it and that should make you happy to know, because that gives you power.

jesus has the power

The entire process of our happiness is quite easy if we just get out of the way and relax.

THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE THING ABOUT LIFE AND ABUNDANCE FOR PEOPLE IS TO REALIZE THAT IT HAPPENS QUICKER AND WITH MORE EXCELLENCE BY DOING LESS AND TRUSTING MORE. IT IS TRUST, OR, WHAT RELIGIONS CALL FAITH, THAT CREATES EASY ACCESS TO OUR MOST BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE IN THIS WORLD.

Have-Faith

So, where is your faith? Can you believe in natural abundance, or, do you believe in struggle?

Once you decide to turn to the direction of what you wish to create, as soon as appreciation sets in for your ability to create, when love flows from you and light shines within, when you know you are a great creator worthy of love, health, and passion, then you can relax, get out of the way, and allow new life to grow.
